Hundreds Register to Vote Ahead of Gambling Referendum

Bahamians who did not register to vote in the general election have until Thursday to register to vote in the referendum on gambling set for January 28, Acting Parliamentary Commissioner Sherlyn Hall said yesterday. As of December 12, there were 172,617 Bahamians on the register.
As of yesterday, there were a few hundred more newly registered people, Hall said.
